Eid festival, Introduction.
Our India is a country of different cultures and civilizations. People of many religions live together in India. We share our culture with each other. All types of festivals are celebrated here. There is also an Eid festival among these festivals. Eid festival is celebrated by the people of Muslim society. Two Eids are celebrated in the Islamic calendar year. Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Azha or Eid ul Juha | Eid-ul-Fitr just comes after the month of Ramadan. It is also called Mithi Eid. Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated two and a half months after the Mithi Eid. In India, Eid-ul-Juha is also called Bakra Eid or Bakrid. Here we are writing about Eid-ul-Fitr/Mithi Eid. This festival is basically a symbol of love and brotherhood. People of Muslim society celebrate Eid festival with full enthusiasm. Which starts with the morning prayer.
When is the festival of Eid celebrated?
Eid festival is celebrated on the first date of the month of Shawwal after the month of Ramadan. Which starts with the new moon according to Muslim belief. Which is also called the moon of Eid. Muslim people does fast during the whole month of Ramadan. Eid is celebrated as a gift. After seeing the moon, everyone cheers and congratulates each other on Eid and thanks God.

Why is the festival of Eid celebrated?
Eid festival is a symbol of love and brotherhood. Everyone celebrates this festival together. Muslim people thank God in this festival, which empowered them to keep all the fast of Ramadan. This festival also teaches rich people to take the poor along. Before Eid prayers, all people donate to the poor people, which is called Fitra. Fitra is mandatory for all. The small children are paid for by their families. Fitra is also called Zakat-ul-Fitr. It has to help the poor class whose income is very low and who cannot buy clothes on the festival. When all people give zakat-ul-fitr for the poor, then it is passed on to those poor people as a result of which they also celebrate Eid.
